Great place to stay with great price for it. Didn't need much because was here on business but the motel is in a convenient location close to almost everything I could possibly need. Water pressure in shower was amazing and the mini fridge kept everything ice cold for the morning. Everybody we spoke to on the staff were super nice and joked around. If we need to pass through Lake City again, this is first on the list of choice to stay.
Clean comfortable big rooms. Great water pressure. Clean and neatly kept parking lot. Motel staff pleasant and efficient everything a independent style motel should be. Large outside trash can very convenient for travelers. If I could give this a 10 instead of 5 this place is a 10! Keep up the fantastic work Thank you!

Recently I was fixing to leave Virginia, headed to this gem of a motel in Lake City, FL and saw that it only had a 2 star rating and felt the need to chime in here. I have been staying at this nicely maintained, clean motel for over 3 years now, usually 3 or 4 times a year. Let me tell you....I would prefer to stay here than a big chain hotel. This place is super nice!!! Is it older? It is!!! Do the owners/caretakers take care of it? ABSOLUTELY!!! On a level that is not commonly seen in privately owned properties. The rooms are always super clean, and have no bad odors. We have never seen any evidence of any bugs, and we look!!! And the best part.............the very sweet lady that runs the place and her husband. They are very fine people!!! My wife and I scuba dive some local spots, and this is our every time go to!!! We love this place, and just want to share it with anyone that has any doubts about staying here!! You will have a great experience!!
Very clean for an older, established motel from the 90s... the building is older than that. The beds were comfortable and the pillows just right. A good hot shower with good pressure. Quiet, no frills room for the night. I slept good. 72.00 for the night. Coffee in the morning was cold...
Staff was friendly. Room was clean and the bathroom looks like it was recently updated. Shower had good water pressure. Room was equipped with microwave and refrigerator as advertised. Very basic room as was price. Would stay again. We stayed here once on our way to Miami and then on our way back from Miami.
Pet friendly, which is a big plus. The motel was clean and quiet, and the ice machine worked. It was a little pricey. However, it has to be difficult being an independent operator. I would stay here again as we felt safe, and it's conveniently located. My only real issue was that there was only one trash can in the room.
Yes, the facility is a bit dated. Was extremely impressed by the cleanliness. The beds we're VERY comfortable for a budget-friendly place. The price for the overall quality was by far the best we experienced on our recent Florida trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect if you are traveling and just need a basic place to rest for the night, want to easily get in and out, and don’t require all the amenities of a larger hotel/resort. (I love resorts, but having to schlepp my luggage through their big lobby and then find the room is too much to handle when checking in late at night for one night only.) I stopped here on my way to South Florida because it was late at night and I got tired and didn’t want to drive any further. The motel is quiet and quaint, just what I was looking for, and I like how you can drive right up to the room and park there, which makes it easy to load/unload your belongings. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner functions well, and it’s close to restaurants and such. Some places like the Waffle House and the gas station convenience stores are 24 hours. Also, the motel and the general area seemed safe. It’s right off the highway, so there’s people around and activity going on around-the-clock
